The Importance of Being Earnest was a little get together read through/acting of the play. It was a little thing that the students put together, all by ourselves, to raise funds for the GSA Theatre and Film Department.
It was filmed and rehearsed over Zoom during the reign of COVID-19. We managed to pull through with it and we had fun creating it!! It was a short, whimsical little thing we put together with no interference with the school's teachers! All the funds raised were sent to the department.
I played Dr. Chasuble, which was definitely different (considering my age) but not so much since previously I played a dead Ghost Father King in Hamlet. So I was used to it.
Fun Fact: The Importance of Being Earnest was already performed at GSA for a live audience 2 years before this production. But the Seniors loved it, so they did it again!
