Role (Ensemble): Laketownian, Dwarf, Goblin, Smaug, Spider, Wolf
The Hobbit at Virginia Stage Company (VSC) was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of. It was very very intense, on top of college applications, school work (4 AP Classes), life in general. It was a lot. But so worth it. The things that I've learned the people that I've met, the amount of creativity and dedication I was surrounded by. I felt like I was in a haven of my dreams. Genuinely that's that kind of stuff I want to be doing. I want to be in that environment and be able to contribute to it as well.
VSC was just a sneak peak into what could be more for me. I don't want to just stop at stage, of course, I want to do more, dipping my toes into every which alley I am able. I know this is the path I want to take and I will take it. I don't know where it'll lead me or what I'll learn from it – but that's apart of the journey, the fun of the adventure.
To the most amazing cast and crew, thank you for everything. For the amazing set, to the amazing direction, to the glorious costumes, to the fun times and the brilliant experience, thank you.
This moment has inspired me to continue pushing, as a matter a fact, this experience made me feel like I could do anything. No challenge is too great to overcome, no obstacle too large to stop me. I am where I want to be, I will keep pushing, keep learning, and keep fighting.
Thank you too all. As I look back, I am so profoundly happy to have been a part of this wonderful experience. I will treasure it forever.
