Role (Lead): Mike
Oh yeah, this was a great experience. First off, Wren is a GENIUS I love this guy's work and I am super duper happy that I could be apart of one of his films. He's a chill dude and there is definitely a lot more to him than he seems. He's a great guy truly, I wish him the absolute best.
Terminally Online is a mix of Voice Acting and Film Acting. It was a double wammy, but it was fun to do. I hadn't voice acted before (this was even before The Mission) and even then it's no small feat. Sure you're sitting in a room with a microphone in front of your face but you are still the character. Also, first time filming in front of a camera so it gave me an idea of how many times you have to start, stop, sit, wait. That's the inconvenient part of filming, that it really isn't fluid for the actor.
I took the idea of a lonely basement dweller who, for lack of better words, is kinda insane. Just a person who wants to be something but is stuck to the underground. Which is sad really. But hey, he doesn't know that.
This is my favorite film from a GSA student that I was in because it was so well done. It had a story, it stuck and went with it, then boom DONE. Its's good stuff.
Technically Terminally Online is my first film PERIOD. So, thank you very much Wren, you're awesome. I know you will do great great things!!!
Fun Fact: I ate some really really good tacos on set. Oh they were so good... Mouth watering tacos...
